John Leahy (The Joy Boy!) is an infomercial fanatic and has spent countless hours watching commercials of all types and purchasing a truckload of the products that have been offered over the years (and enjoying the living daylights out of them all!).
He has been married to his beautiful wife M for almost five years.
John’s a Singer, Saxophone Player, Part-time Commercial and Voice-Over Actor, and Bartender (hence, the late nights of tv watching), and likes to think of himself as a Rennaissance Man (Ha! Ha! Who’s he kidding?)
A martial artist for 35 years, John’s a Renshi (and, Godan) in the Shuri-Ryu system (as a student of the late Hanshi John A. Pachivas), a Shodan in Shinto Yoshin Jiu Jitsu (as a student of Hanshi Steven Roensch), a member in good standing of the Professional Association of Martial Arts Instructors (PAMAI), and was inducted into the American Budokai Society in 1995.
