Hey Guys! Have you ever bought resell rights or PLR rights to a product
and then later figured out that it’s harder that you thought it
would be to setup the website that came with the rights?

I just found out about a totally free video training that was
done by Jeremy Burns to show you step by step how to setup any
resell rights or PLR website in under 90 minutes.

If you don’t know Jeremy Burns: you need to! He’s the creative genius behind the “Source Code Gold Mine” PLR packages, that have been consistently great, on the cutting-edge, and are over-loaded to the max with massive value: every “SCGM” has had 10 powerful products… all with Ready-To-Use Website Templates, Sales Letters, the Source Code (so, you can Re-Brand each product as your own!), Word Documents, Free Upgrades: wow! I’ve been on board for “SCGM” 5-8, and was patiently waiting for 9, when I got wind that Jeremy is about to release a physical (the “SCGM” products have all been digital) product, “Video Disk Goldmine”! As part of his upcoming monster launch, Jeremy is including video training on how to easily set up your sales websites. And, as a favor, he’s offering them for free (!) in advance of the “VDGM” launch, so anybody can look in and see what he’s got to offer: Don’t miss out on this!

http://tinyurl.com/I-Want-Free-Video-Training

You can actually follow along with the video and setup your own
websites for all of those resell rights products you may have
bought in the past, but never setup online, easily with these
videos.

This training is totally free so take a minute and check it out,
or at least go bookmark it so you can watch it later if you do
not have time now.

These videos could easily sell for $100 or more but I assure you
they will not cost you a thing, you do not even have to opt-in
to watch them.

http://tinyurl.com/I-Want-Free-Video-Training

Best regards,
John Leahy

P.S. If you have bought rights products in the past, this is your
chance to learn how to finally get them on the Internet selling
for you http://tinyurl.com/I-Want-Free-Video-Training

Generating over $200 million/year for Church & Dwight (the parent corp.) with his Direct Response ads for a host of “problem-solving” products, like OxiClean, OrangeGlo, KaBoom, etc. You might not have bought any, but you definitely know their names. He and fellow “Pitchman” Anthony Sullivan were throwbacks to an era of less subtle (read: LOUD!) tv ads that gave way to more gentle persuasion, as audiences became deaf to the chatter of “545-5300!” and “Gimbel’s Shop At Home Service!”; we’ve come full circle, I suppose. Just like Ed McMahon, Billy Mays learned his craft on the Atlantic City, NJ Boardwalk: get the crowd’s Attention, establish the Problem, demonstrate the Solution, give the Call to Action, Make the Sale: WOW, what a Formula! Here’s an example of his work: \”Kaboom\”

Sadly, Billy Mays passed away Sunday June 28 at age 50.

Oops! Has it been that long since I last posted here? Talk about Life getting in the way… Anyhow, much has transpired since my last post, so let’s get to it!

There are many elements that go into a Commercial presentation, and as much money is sometimes spent on a one-minute TV ad as is spent on a Hollywood film! Of course, with “Product Placement”, there’s a lot of crossover between the two. Rich, colorful and vibrant Photography and Editing, Musical Scoring, and yes: Acting. One of the fascinating elements of Infomercials (or, any kind of Marketing: Television, Radio, Print, Online and Off) is the Copy: establish the Problem, present the Solution, give the Call To Action (The Pitch). But, not just any Copy; the reason we find these Products so irresistible is the use of “psychological triggers” which have been worked and reworked, tested and retested over the years to the point where, like Pavlov’s Dogs, we’re defenseless and at their mercy. However, I really need: a super-absorbent towel, shoe inserts that’ll ease my back pain, a Beach Body, a Bean, a Pull-Up Bar for my doorway, a Perfect Pushup, Situp, Legraise, Meal Plan, Colon Cleanse, and that Hearing thing for the tv (because I’m going deaf from Billy May’s screaming)! {He was on Leno tonight… coincidence?}

Lately, I’ve been hearing the “siren call” of Internet Marketing, and all the products and launches (and, Copy!), and it seems like everything I’m offered is… irresistible! For example (por ejemplo, aqui en Mexico del Norte), with businesses struggling a bit to get customers, online marketers are sending “qualified leads” to retailers (on and offline) using “PPC” (Pay Per Click) and “CPA” (Cost Per Action) strategies. It’s fun stuff to read about (of course: great Copy), and if you want to Market Online, it’s essential! Here’s a free 89-Page CPA report from Gauher Chaudhrey that will make your head spin (copy and paste the link to your browser):

http://tinyurl.com/Get-Free-CPA-Report

There’s a video there as well that’s got all the hallmarks of true Infomercial Joy, and a Marketing 101 template for us all to admire (Problem, Solution, Call To Action). When you download and read the free report, you’ll see what I mean. It’s loaded with “triggers”, and makes for fascinating reading… even if you’re not ready to start your own Marketing Empire! It’s gotten to the point where I don’t read much else besides Marketing Materials (o.k., I’m still addicted to Sudoku!); I read the paper, but haven’t picked up a novel or a biography (my fave) in a while, and I love to read; oh, well…

Well, maybe not quite the beginning, but my first Info-Product was the “Pocket Fisherman” (an early version) with which I caught my very first fish (a flounder). That initial success, plus all the blowfish I caught and cleaned (lots of ketchup: tastes like chicken!), sold me on that product and many others that followed over the years. While many other commercials had jingles (“`Brylcreem’, a little dab’ll do ya”) and songs (“And his name is: “Mr. Machine”!) and tag lines (“And, they are mild”), the great Infomercials offered Usefulness, Convenience, and Versatility: “It dices and slices”, “stores easily”, “replaces all those other utensils”! These commercials were so prevalent, they were immortalized in great comedy skits like `The Honeymooners’ hilarious `Chef ‘O The Future’! Way back when, you could order your `Vegematic’ or `Chop-O-Matic’ by phone, C.O.D. (very helpful when you’re 10 years old getting Mom that must-have item for Mother’s Day… coming up soon!), and the mailman would collect the cash from you… wow! Methods of payment have changed over the years, of course, as different systems have evolved. There are many variations of “Buying On Spec” whereby one orders an item, and then sends in payment; nowadays, however, you have to give the seller your cc number first. Time-Life had a beautiful set of books on “The Computer” for which you sent in the money after you received a book. They would then send the next book in the series (I had a sneaking suspicion they’d keep printing books if I kept sending in money!). If you’ve got any remembrances of these products, having bought them and/or used them, and how you paid for them, please leave a comment. I’ll be with you shortly! “But Wait: There’s More!”…

Hi, everybody! Welcome to my blog: Infomercial Joy! My name is John Leahy, and I’m known to all my friends (and critics… what?!) as The Joyboy and/or The Brightboy (And, sometimes by my darling wife M as The Idiot: oh, well…). Starting today, (Saturday April 19th, 2008) I’ll be sharing with you my fascination with infomercials, especially the late-night variety, and the Problems, Solutions, and Calls To Action these products offer. I know I’m not the only one out here who can’t resist watching (over and over) and buying these products, whether they’re for Wealth, Health, or Success. When M and I got married, we had to get rid of a lot of duplicate items: Abdoers and Abrollers and Tony Robbins (yes, we have a lot in common), etc. I could’ve made a fortune on eBay(!), but I had webtv (another infomercial from the past) at the time, which didn’t support much online activity. Part of the “joy” is in the artful crafting of these commercial masterpieces, and we’ll be talking about that, as well as the products themselves and the purchasing experience. It’s something I like to call “News, Clues, And Reviews”. I can’t wait to hear from you, and I hope you’ll feel free to share your infomercial experiences. And, away we Go!!!
